Privacy Policy

This page explains how A Cooking Book handles common website data in plain language. It is not a substitute for legal advice.

Information we may collect

A Cooking Book may receive basic usage information such as pages visited, device type, referring pages, approximate location, and performance data when analytics tools are enabled.

If newsletter or contact features are enabled, we may collect the email address, name, and message details you choose to submit.

Analytics and cookies

The site is prepared for Vercel Web Analytics, Vercel Speed Insights, Google Analytics 4, and Microsoft Clarity. Google Analytics and Clarity only load when their public environment variables are configured. Some providers may use cookies, device information, heatmaps, session replay, or similar technologies according to their own policies.

Newsletter emails

If you subscribe to updates, your email is used to send A Cooking Book messages such as new recipe notes, illustrated recipe collections, or site updates. The signup form may also collect an optional first name so emails can feel less anonymous. Newsletter data may be handled by the configured email provider, and emails should include a way to unsubscribe when provider delivery is connected.

Third-party services

Hosting, analytics, email, and social sharing providers may process limited data to operate their services. A Cooking Book does not sell personal information from this local project setup.

Food safety and allergens

Recipes are for general home-cooking inspiration. Always verify allergens, ingredients, cooking temperatures, storage guidance, and personal dietary needs before cooking or serving food.
