3 tbsp doubanjiang (fermented broad bean paste)
1 tbsp douchi (fermented black beans), rinsed and chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp ground Sichuan peppercorns
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp water
1 tsp sesame oil
1/2 cup green onions, chopped (for garnish)
